VE6WZ

Steve, VE6WZ made his version of the RX-amp with a build in relais to protect the RX-amp during TX.
The 9-circle combiner is on one pcb and Steve added the well known RX-preamp with a 2N5901 to the combiner.
A walk true video by VE6WZ at his location showing the YCCC 9 circle rx array installation.

A new 9-circle combiner is designed by Steve without the need of the common mode choke. Also the extra pre-amp has removed in thes design.

If you wish to build the array with the pcb's from Steve, we can provide them too via the webshop!

A note from Steve: Read the YCCC manual, watch all video's, re-read the manual again and think! You needs some knowledge of electronics to build this units. Steve is not a help desk on How-to....

This is the orginal YCCC pre-amp around the AD8055 chip.

A schematic view of the amp for understanding and fault search.

The value of each component is written in the BOM

Steve describe the rx-amp in a you-tube video

In case of trouble there are 2 video's how to check the pre-amp

This is the orginal YCC combiner board with common mode choke .

A schematic view of the combiner for under standing and fault search.

The value of each component is written in the BOM

Steve describe the 9 circle combiner in a you-tube video.

A test procedure is shown in a video as well

This is the new creation by Steve. There is no need any more for an external common mode choke with the 2 ferrit core and RG179 coax. This uint has build-in common mode choke.

In this video Steve explain this design.

The value of each component is written in the BOM
